I've heard that farts from cows are a big problem for pollution. Could it be that we are too many people - and eat cows (and they don't ride Savages in which way the farts at least also had a purpose - although i'm not sure a fart neutralizes the pollution, even if it is from the maybe very special onions, that Alexander use to eat)? BTW have you thought of how many gallons/litre of farts are exhausted every second? Such vaste of energy! If it only could be collected! Could be used as fuel to our Savages (Alexander, have you considered to use your "onion -air" directly in the Big Single?)
Really: i think every pollution/enviroment-discussion is absurd - unless it deals with and try to handle the fact, that we are too many people. "People" use to be offended, when i say this. I really don't understand why. Possibly they think i want to kill them. Of course i don't. But the whole thing is a choice between a reasonably life-quality for relatively few(er) people (same number as for about 1.000 years ago would be nice = 1/10) - or a doll, boring life for many (with no freedom). Did i offend someone?
